Job Title: Medication Care Manager
">Job Summary:
">The Medication Care Manager is responsible for administering medications and treatments in a safe and organized manner, and for ensuring that residents receive the highest quality care. This includes reviewing and documenting medication administration records, receiving updates from the Resident Care Director or Wellness Nurse, and maintaining confidentiality of resident information.
">Key Responsibilities:

- Administer medications and treatments in accordance with resident care plans and Sunrise policies ">
- Review and document medication administration records to ensure accuracy and compliance ">
- Receive and act on medication updates from the Resident Care Director or Wellness Nurse ">
- Maintain confidentiality of resident information and adhere to infection control protocols ">
- Participate in daily Cross Over meetings to discuss resident care and address concerns ">
- Assist in developing Individualized Service Plans (ISPs) and monthly updates ">
- Partner with community team to ensure compliance with OSHA/British Columbia Workers Compensation Act and Occupational Health and Safety Regulation requirements ">
Requirements:

- High school diploma or equivalent required; certifications may be necessary per state/provincial regulations ">
- Previous experience working with seniors preferred ">
- Ability to make choices and decisions in the best interest of residents ">
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills ">
- CPR and First Aid certification required ">
