About the Role:
The Senior Dining Services Manager provides dining and table services to residents in accordance with Sunrise Senior Living standards, ensuring a warm and welcoming experience for all.
Main Responsibilities:
- Serve as a role model in providing dining service to residents
- Assist with training team members to ensure seamless delivery of services
- Maintain proper dining room setup, including tables, chairs, and linens
- Support special events and activities that promote socialization and engagement among residents
- Monitor checklists for dining area cleanliness and readiness, upholding high standards of hygiene and safety
- Assist in maintaining accurate records of inventory and supplies
- Handle food and beverages in accordance with sanitary procedures and standards, ensuring a safe and healthy environment for residents and staff alike
Requirements:
- High School diploma or equivalent required; degree in hospitality or related field preferred
- Minimum one year experience in fine dining hospitality and/or full-service senior living
- Ability to handle multiple priorities, prioritize tasks, and manage time effectively
- Effective written and verbal communication skills to interact with residents, families, and colleagues
- Organizational and problem-solving skills to address challenges and resolve issues efficiently
