About the Opportunity
We are seeking a skilled Medication Care Manager to join our team at Sunrise Senior Living. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest degree of quality care and services to our residents.
Responsibilities:
- Medication Management: Administers, assists with, and observes medications and treatments for each resident using the medication administration record and the Six Rights of Medication Pass.
- Risk Management: Partners with the community team to ensure compliance with OSHA/British Columbia Workers Compensation Act and Occupational Health and Safety Regulation requirements.
Requirements:
- Skills and Qualifications: Ability to make choices and decisions and act in the resident's best interest, ability to react and remain calm in difficult situations, and possess written and verbal skills for effective communication and level of understanding.
