Summary/Objective

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to stand; walk; use hands to type, handle or feel; and reach with hands and arms.
This is largely a sedentary role; however, some filing is required. This would require the ability to lift files, open filing cabinets and bend or stoop as necessary. This position requires the ability to occasionally lift office products and supplies, up to 20 pounds.
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
The work hours for this position are Monday, Wednesday and Friday 7:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Tuesday and Thursday 9:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. This position will require a normal Saturday rotation for home site.

No travel required for this position.
Required Education And Experience
This position requires an LCDCIII, LICDC, LPCC, LCSW, LIMFT, RN or MD with related educational requirements.
Preferred Education And Experience
At least three years of Addictions Counseling experience.

Essential Functions
- Provide Individual and/or Group Counseling services to patients with substance abuse problems.
- Provide clinical supervision to assigned clinical staff under the supervision of the Clinical Director.
- Assist with facilitating Clinical Team meetings.
- Maintain patient records and produce timely documentation of services rendered.
- Maintain contacts and/or referrals with clinicians in the community and inform them of the patient’s progress. Make referrals to other community agencies and resources, as indicated in the treatment plan.
- Process toxicology screenings.
- Schedule appointments and manage patient accounts.
- Remain current with changes in policies and procedures.
- Attend and participate in relevant continuing education and in-service training to improve professional competency.
