Purpose:

To provide support to the Development Department with emphasis on grant writing to secure funding from public and private entities that will benefit organizational programs and projects.  

Qualifications:

•    Must successfully complete the required pre-employment Background and Drug Screenings 
•    Must possess a valid Driver's License which meets company standards for approved driver status                                                                                                                                                                               
•    Must possess an Associate’s Degree (Bachelor’s Degree preferred) 
•    Must possess at least two years of experience with grants  
•    Must possess strong computer skills                                                                                                                                                                                                                             
Essential Functions

•    Prepares and submits grant proposals to corporate, private and government funding sources
•    Monitors implementation and compliance of successful applications
•    Coordinates the development and timely submission of reports to funding agencies
•    Ensures that grant reporting guidelines are followed
•    Meets compliance deadlines
•    Updates appropriate program and administrative staff on an bi-monthly basis
•    Researches and identifies new funding prospects to meet organization’s priorities                                                                                     
•    Conducts research for operational needs and community resources to build partnerships that strengthen grant applications
•    Maintains in-depth prospect files and tracking systems
•    Develops written program language for all programs and projects 
•    Provides support to Director of Grants in conducting assessments of programmatic and financial needs of designated programs 
•    Performs all other duties as assigned
