Sunroc is looking for a skilled Equipment Manager to oversee operations across multiple divisions. This key leadership role involves managing electrical equipment maintenance, employee training, and strategic planning while ensuring compliance with safety and environmental standards. Things You’ll Do
- Oversee all division locations and employees.
- Maintain regular communication with division managers and facility caretakers.
- Maintain division recruiting, hiring, promotion, and corrective action.
- Train employees about safety sensitive functions.
- Responsible to review and approve purchase orders, invoices, various reports, and approve necessary repairs and purchases.
- Monitor employee training and certification.
- Review electrical component inventory, status, operation, and condition of equipment.
- Coordinate, expedite repairs, and recommend equipment for retirement.
- Coordinate plant maintenance and schedule as appropriate.
- Submit capital expenditures and strategic planning.
- Responsible for scheduled maintenance policy.
- Maintain insurable driving record.
- Ensure compliance with all safety and environmental requirements.
Requirements
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering degree preferred
- Master Electrician license preferred
- Exceptional interpersonal, problem solving, and technical skills
- Ability to review and analyse financial information
- Strategic thinking skills
- Maintain agreeable relationships with vendors and equipment suppliers
- Basic Microsoft Office skills
- Knowledge of various plants, vehicles, and equipment
