Job Description :
Operate a cash register, answer the telephone, work with computer and paper catalog systems
Work with current sales promotions and ability to process rebates and registrations
Build / maintain store displays; keep items stocked and priced
Are able to share knowledge about auto part features, benefits and warranty info
Maintain accurate invoicing records and cash drawer security
Process TAMS point-of-sale transactions properly.
Execute store policies and procedures in all transactions.
Additionally, you may be asked to :
Assist with checking in stock orders and stocking products on shelves
Clean and perform routine maintenance functions
Provide efficient and professional delivery service in a safe and timely manner
Qualifications
Must be functionally literate, capable of reading and writing legibly; and capable of understanding and recognizing part numbers and line codes, able to accurately reference part numbers and applications from an extensive catalog.
Must be capable of lifting and moving parts and boxes of up to 50 lbs.
Must be able to use moving aids designed to move heavier items including hand trucks, pallet jacks, barrel dollies, hydraulic lifts, etc.
Must be able to bend or stoop to ground level shelves and be able to reach upper shelves, with use of step stool or ladder when necessary.
Must be able to work on their feet (stand or walk) for their assigned work shifts.
Must pass a pre-employment background check.
Perform associated duties as assigned by management.
