What are the responsibilities and job description for the Event Sales Specialist position at Sunset Farm Operations?
Are you a sales professional, who is tired of selling things you don't love? Are you a closing master, a savage killer, that wants to sell something different? Are you tired of commission caps, and comp structures that fall short, or change once you're killing it? Were you a top performer as a sales rep, are an excellent sales trainer and leader, but tired of making less than the sales reps below you? If you've dreamed of crushing event sales, weddings, and public events, and love to be compensated well; then this is the position for you.
We are looking for an experienced Event Coordinator to organize excellent events. Your primary responsibility will be focusing on marketing and selling events, and upgrades. You MUST have sales performance numbers that exceed industry standards, and crush those you compete with. If you do not have events and wedding experience, we can train you, so long as you have a VERY STRONG sales background. You will be responsible for every aspect of an event, from marketing and selling the venue, to walking clients through vendor and additional rental selections. An event coordinator must be well-organized and competent in vendor management. Communication skills and attention to detail will set apart the best among the candidates. Add a shot of enthusiasm and passion for the job and you’ll be our ideal candidate. The goal is to organize unforgettable events that will ensure the entertainment of participants and facilitate the completion of business objectives.
A base salary to get you started and a sky is the limit mentality is part of this position. Initial sales goals with accelerators, and year over year base salary increases based on performance.
