The Receiving Lead is responsible for ensuring timely receipt of incoming Purchase Orders, both Domestic and International, while prioritizing product to keep the warehouse stocked with goods for other departments to efficiently utilize. The Receiving Lead is also responsible for keeping the cleanliness and organization of the receiving area and ensuring record-keeping procedures are in place and respective documents are filed and stored accordingly.
Responsibilities:- Responsible for all activities involving incoming products and materials.
- Unloading product from trucks and/or containers in a scheduled amount of time.
- Ensuring all incoming material is accurately accounted for and entered correctly into the SAP system.
- Inspecting and ensuring all incoming products is in good condition and noting any shipping damage.
- Responsible for product placement within the warehouse and material handling activities.
- Ensuring safety and operational guideline are met.
- Working with our quality department on incoming inspection criteria.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Minimum 2 years of Warehouse/Receiving experience.
- Experience with Microsoft Excel.
- Ability to lift up to 70 lbs.
- Ability to bend, reach, walk and stand throughout most of the day.
- Forklift certification within 3 months of starting.
- Ability to ensure proper procedures are being followed for efficient warehouse and receiving activities.
- Capability to recommend improvements to reduce loss and drive productivity within the department.
- Skills to resolve work problems and assist workers in solving problems.
Salary : $19 - $20
