Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement individualized nursing care plans to ensure resident needs are met under the supervision of the Director of Nursing.
- Assist in the orientation of and supervision of nursing personnel, attend daily operations of the unit, and assume leadership roles as needed.
- Take an active role in direct resident assessment and care.
- Supervise and coordinate nursing personnel in providing direct resident care in adherence to State and Federal regulations.
- Formulate individualized nursing care plans utilizing the nursing process.
- Assess each resident daily and implement changes as needed.
- Participate in training and supervision of nursing personnel.
- Utilize effective principles of leadership and supervision.
