Position Overview: We are seeking a skilled and motivated Irrigation Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for outdoor environments, a strong mechanical aptitude, and a commitment to excellence in irrigation system installation, maintenance, and repair.
Responsibilities:
- Install, maintain, and repair irrigation systems for residential, commercial, and municipal clients.
- Perform routine inspections to identify leaks, malfunctions, or inefficiencies in irrigation systems.
- Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with irrigation controllers, valves, pipes, and sprinkler heads.
- Adjust irrigation schedules and settings to optimize water efficiency and plant health.
- Collaborate with landscape designers and contractors to ensure proper integration of irrigation systems with overall landscape plans.
- Keep accurate records of work performed, materials used, and customer communication.
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing client inquiries and concerns in a timely and professional manner.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as an irrigation technician or in a related field.
- Strong knowledge of irrigation system components, including controllers, valves, pipes, and sprinkler heads.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and irrigation plans.
- Proficiency in troubleshooting and repairing irrigation system issues.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Detail-oriented with a commitment to quality workmanship.
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., Certified Irrigation Technician) are a plus.
