GENERAL OVERVIEW | Sunshine Bouquet, a leader in the mass-market floral industry, is looking for a motivated and customer-focused IT Support Technician to join our IT team. This role is ideal for a problem-solver with excellent communication skills in both English and Spanish, a strong work ethic, and a desire to grow in the IT field. The successful candidate will provide technical support to end users, ensuring seamless operation of hardware, software, and network systems, with a particular focus on Microsoft 365 environments.
JOB DESCRIPTION | The IT Support Technician works at one of our facilities. Duties include:
- Respond to and resolve Level 1 and Level 2 technical support requests via phone, email, and in person.
- Troubleshoot and support hardware, software, and peripheral issues.
- Provide assistance with Microsoft 365 applications, including Outlook, Teams, SharePoint, and OneDrive.
- Assist in setting up and configuring new workstations, laptops, and mobile devices.
- Maintain accurate documentation of support requests and resolutions using a ticketing system.
- Escalate complex issues to senior IT staff, as necessary.
- Collaborate with the IT team on ongoing projects and updates.
- Participate in an on-call rotation to provide after-hours support as needed.
REQUIREMENTS | Candidate must be:
- Fluent in English and Spanish (both verbal and written communication).
- Knowledge of Microsoft 365 suite, including troubleshooting common issues.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Entra, Intune
- Basic understanding of networking concepts (e.g., TCP/IP, Wi-Fi).
- Familiarity with Windows operating systems; MacOS experience is a plus.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a customer-first attitude.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
ADDITIONAL DESIRED SKILLS | A plus for candidate, but not required:
- CompTIA A or other relevant certifications
- Experience with a ticketing system, such as ServiceNow or Zendesk.
- Experience with Sophos, Barracuda and ThreatLocker
- 1 years previous experience in an IT support role.
