Lab Supervisor

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Laboratory Supervisor to lead our medical laboratory team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Beckman lab equipment like AU480 and Access 2 along with a thorough understanding of CLIA regulations. This role is essential for ensuring that our laboratory operations run smoothly while maintaining the highest standards of quality and compliance.

Duties

• Supervise daily laboratory operations and manage a team of laboratory technicians and researchers.
• Ensure compliance with CLIA standards in all laboratory processes.
• Oversee project management activities, including planning, execution, and monitoring of development projects.
• Analyze experimental data and provide insights to improve laboratory practices and outcomes.
• Conduct regular training sessions for staff on best practices in laboratory techniques and safety protocols.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support ongoing research initiatives and product development.
• Maintain accurate records of experiments, procedures, and results in accordance with regulatory requirements.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant scientific field; advanced degree preferred.
• Proven experience in a supervisory role within a research laboratory setting.
• Strong knowledge of laboratory safety protocols.
• Proficiency testing experience
• Excellent project management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
• Strong analytical skills to interpret complex data sets and make informed decisions.
• Exceptional communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members and stakeholders.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $35.00 - $40.00 per hour

Expected hours: No more than 20 per week
