Position Summary : Our client is looking for an experienced asphalt paving crew that has at least combined total of 2 years of operatingand / or performing the following : paving, screed, raking, and shovelling. The successful candidate shall also have a valid driver's license with a clean record.
Responsibilities :
- Ensure a safe work environment in compliance with safety policies and procedures.
- Perform and monitor Paving Operations for depth, yield, cross slope, and density compliance.
- Ensure crew and trucks operate efficiently, determining asphalt tonnage and mix type.
- Maintain and clean assigned equipment, reporting necessary repairs promptly.
- Park equipment safely, following clear zone requirements
- Ensure all equipment is fueled and filled with water at the end of each shift.
- Complete Daily Equipment Condition Reports and submit them daily.
