The Sunshine House Early Learning Academy is seeking a Substitute Teacher for our locations in North Charleston! Flexibility around your availability- up to full time!

Pay rate of $16-$21 per hour
Pay rate is determined by relevant education and experience. Candidates with a high school diploma and limited experience will be paid at the lower end of the range. Candidates with ECD 101 to an associate’s degree in early childhood education or a related field may be paid mid-range. Candidates with a bachelor’s degree or higher in early childhood education or a related field and applicable experience may be paid at the higher end of the range.

Substitute Teacher Responsibilities:
- Foster a safe and fun environment.
- Foster relationships with children and provide a safe, inclusive, and positive learning environment.
- Document and share with families the important information in a child’s day using our app.
- Welcome families and engage them in conversation.
- Have fun and work as part of a supportive team!
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- At least 30 days in a licensed childcare setting.
- Monday-Friday schedule, no nights or weekends!
