Sunshine Pediatrics is a dedicated pediatric practice committed to providing high-quality, compassionate care for our patients. We are seeking a Full-Time Front Office / Medical Assistant Float to support both front office operations and clinical duties as needed. Responsibilities
Front Office Duties:
- ✅ Check-in & check-out patients efficiently
- ✅ Verify insurance eligibility & process co-pays
- ✅ Schedule and confirm patient appointments
- ✅ Answer phone calls, return voicemails, and handle inquiries
- ✅ Scan and update patient records into eClinicalWorks (eCW)
- ✅ Manage faxes, referrals, and prior authorizations
- ✅ Maintain a clean and organized reception area
Medical Assistant Duties:
- Room patients, take vitals, and document patient history
- Assist providers with procedures and patient care
- Administer vaccines and medications as ordered
- Perform point-of-care testing (urine tests, rapid strep, flu, etc.)
- Prepare and stock exam rooms
- Follow infection control and HIPAA protocols
- Assist with medical records requests and lab follow-ups

Qualifications
- Medical Assistant Certification (CMA, RMA, or equivalent) – Required
- Front Office experience in a medical setting – Preferred
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) – Strongly Preferred
- Familiarity with eClinicalWorks (eCW) or similar EMR – Preferred
- CPR Certification (or willing to obtain)
