We are in search of a teacher a Pre-School Teacher who will have her own classroom but feel comfortable working with children aged 18 months to 5 years old. This is a temp to permananet position, we are looking for Summer Staff that could possibly turn into a full time position.
Job description includes, but is not limited to :
- Demonstrates knowledge and application of Early Childhood Education theories, especially as they apply to the preschool program’s target population.
- Provide a high quality classroom environment.
- Demonstrates positive professional interactions with children.
- Supports family involvement.
- Promotes and implements health and safety practices.
- Demonstrates clear written and oral communication skills; and effective organization and time management skills.
- Works cooperatively with colleagues, administrators and staff and engages in professional behavior and development.
- Performs other duties as assigned by Director
