Job Description
PURPOSE:
This position is responsible for providing primary support to the Property Manager in the maintenance and operational efficiency of the Self Storage facility in order to create and maintain a desirable environment for current and prospective customers.
JOB SPECIFICATIONS:
A. Required Skills, Knowledge and Abilities
- Customer relations skills such as the ability to be diplomatic under adverse conditions and the ability to be sensitive and respond with a sense of urgency to customer’s needs.
- Ability to work independently and give attention to detail.
- Ability to utilize appropriate resources to resolve problems and follow through to resolution of the problem.
- Phone and sales skills such as: a pleasant voice, friendly disposition, and the ability to present information in an effective manner.
- Superior written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work cooperatively and collaboratively with a group of individuals organized for a particular purpose to make the work of the group successful and effective.
- Ability to demonstrate flexibility.
- Familiar with Microsoft Office applications and ability to type at least 35 wpm.
- Ability to do light maintenance work and office cleaning.
- Valid driver’s license and possible use of own vehicle.
B. Desired Education and Experience
- Two year college degree in business, real estate, or related field, a minimum of one year experience in property management and a minimum of one year experience in a customer relations position; or a combination of education and experience providing equivalent knowledge.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES AND ACTIVITIES:
- Assist the Property Manager in the day-to-day operations of the Self Storage facility to assure a high degree of customer satisfaction.
- Assist Property Manager in achieving financial goals to assure the growth and profitability of entity.
- Participate in the ongoing process of continual improvements that can be noticed by our customers to assure a high degree of customer satisfaction.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $16.00 - $17.00 per hour
Expected hours: 20 – 40 per week
