What are the responsibilities and job description for the Dietary Aide- Skilled Nursing Facility position at Sunshine Terrace Foundation?
Dietary Aide (a great alternative to the "fast food life." You will be trained to move into a Cook's position.
Summary:
- Performs a variety of kitchen duties to assist in preparing and serving meals to patients and residents.
- A fair wage of $12/hr. that aligns with current demands.
- Day shift from 5:00 AM to 2:30 PM. Night shift from 2:30 PM to 7:30 PM
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned to meet business needs.
- Prepares minimal food items such as fruits, toast, and beverages with the instruction of the cook.
- Prepares silverware and napkins.
- Prepares dining room areas for meals.
- Washes dishes and cleans dish area, tables, cabinets, and meal carts.
- Cleans dining room areas after meals.
- Performs cleaning duties as scheduled.
Job Requirements
Education and/or Experience
- Less than high school education. Must be at least 16 years of age.
- Up to one month related experience or training is super but we will train the right people.
Other Qualifications/Requirements
- Ability to obtain Food Handler permit or ServSafe certification. Having a Food Handler's permit is even better.
- Excellent teamwork skills.
- A willingness to serve.
- Ability to find joy in busy kitchen environment.
Supervisory and Reporting Responsibilities
- Reports directly to the Dietary Director.
Salary : $12 - $13
