Position Summary:
The Procurement and Inventory Management of Raw Materials and Purchased Finished Goods.
Essential Job Functions:
- Provide support for the new product development and enhancement of cost modeling tools to support strategic buying efforts
- Provide support for the annual Global Purchasing Strategic plan
- Participate with other division’s buyers in consortium global buys in groups to explore synergies that may exist to key suppliers
- Engage in Purchase / QA/ R&D / Manufacturing efforts to troubleshoot problems that threaten a quality product supply
- To personally source, negotiate and procure all raw materials and purchased finished goods.
- Establish goals and objective, to monitor the performance of these commodities where cost reductions and supplier performance are concerned
- Monitor raw material and purchased finished good inventories to achieve inventory turn target
- Resolve material complaints and supplier returns
- Track cost reduction programs to monitor the trend of Actual vs Planned savings
Education
- Bachelor referred
Knowledge/Experience
- Minimum 5 years in a regulated industry. International experience is a plus.

The pay range for this position of Senior Buyer is $79,902-119,853. However, base pay offered may vary depending on skills, experience, job-related knowledge and location. This position is also eligible for an annual bonus as part of total compensation.
