Accounting Administrative Assistant
About Us:
We are a growing Community Association Management firm seeking an Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable Person.
We are a dog friendly, fun, and fast paced environment located in Sarasota, Florida.
About You:
You have knowledge & experience in an accounting office. You are able to answer the phones for the department and answer questions regarding payments.
You are comfortable reading & understanding accounting software.
You are able to communicate well with clients, vendors, and co-workers.
You are detail oriented ,highly organized, work well individually, follow through with tasks, and strive to meet deadlines.
About the Position(Including, but not limited to):
- Process mail for Vendors and Owners for the accounting department
- Use excel tracking sheets with ease
- Communicate with owners regarding payments
- Communicate with vendors regarding payments, invoices, credit memos when needed
- Mail vendor checks
- Track certificates of insurance and W-9
Requirements:
- An understanding of accounting, community management knowledge a plus
- Extensive experience with any accounting software
- Excel & computer savvy
- Strong written & verbal skills
- Self-motivated
- 2-5 years of accounting/bookkeeping experience
- Strong admin skills a plus, willing to train exceptional candidate.
Community Association /Property Management experience is a plus
