TARGETING $20.50 to $22/hour DOE
Promotes and maintains a positive, effective relationship with Growers Store customers and grower members.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSABILITIES
The following duties are normal for this position. These are not to be construed as exclusive or all-inclusive. Other related duties may be required and assigned.
- Receives products ordered for Growers Store resale.
- Is responsible for cash drawer accuracy related to daily sales.
- Secures cash drawers and prepares deposits.
- Has the ability to make decisions in the best interests of Sunsweet Growers and the Growers Store.
- Provides management of the Growers Store on a day-to-day basis in the Growers Store Manager's absence.
- Supervises and trains temporary labor during busy season.
- Presents an efficient, polite and sincere attitude to all Sunsweet grower members and Growers Store traffic.
- Provides efficient customer service to all Growers Store customers.
- Has good telephone and office skills in relationship to customer service and/or mail orders.
- Has an awareness of possible customer problems and relates such to Growers Store Manager.
- Helps to keep Growers Store shelves and display area in a neat and orderly fashion on a "first in, first out" basis.
- Helps to keep the Growers Store warehouse in an orderly manner, including rotation of stock for inventory control.
- Helps maintain inventory of shipping materials/packaging for all orders and advise of needs when necessary.
- Retrieve, package and process POS, online orders from the store and order requested by the marketing department.
- Has an awareness of product problems or shortages and relates same to the Growers Store Manager.
- Represents Sunsweet with pride in relationship to our products and our position within the community.
- Exercises tact and discretion in interpersonal contacts.
- Communicates with the Growers Store Manager for the total benefit of Sunsweet and the Growers Store.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Knowledge/Skills:
- Cash handling skills
- Customer service
Ability to:
- Multi-task.
Education and Experience:
- High School
- Retail experience preferred.
Physical/Safety Requirements:
- Ambient noise is louder than a traditional office setting.
