Job Title: Payroll Administrator
Reports to: Payroll Supervisor
Job Summary:
The Payroll Administrator processes weekly payroll, ensuring timeliness and accuracy for all employees. This role requires knowledge of payroll regulations, tax laws, and experience with payroll systems. The Payroll Administrator works closely with HR and Finance to manage employee data, handle payroll inquiries, and support compliance with payroll policies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Performs all activities necessary to process multi-state payrolls including maintaining related records, reviewing automated system output such as registers and standard reports, determining and correcting out of balance conditions
- Maintain payroll information by collecting, calculating, and entering data
- Work with HR to maintain and update Payroll records
- Maintain payroll operations by following policies and procedures; reporting needed changes
- Maintain and protect employees/payroll operations by keeping information confidential
- Prepare relevant daily, monthly, quarterly, year-end and ad hoc reports as requested
- Act as Admin for corporate time reporting system (AL Mobile)
- Ensure accurate and timely payroll processing on weekly deadline for more than 1900 employees
- Communicate and interact with various department managers for any missed time entries
- Manage and process various employee deductions and garnishments.
- Print checks, generate direct deposit, and run payroll reports
- Respond to payroll questions and employee inquiries
- Analyze and resolve Payroll discrepancies
- Contributes to team efforts by accomplishing related results as needed

Qualifications:
- 2 years previous payroll experience preferably in a construction environment.
- Must be extremely detail oriented and accurate.
- Must have excellent time management skills
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to handle confidential and sensitive information.
- Must be able to adapt to changing tasks quickly in a fast-paced environment.
- Prior experience in payroll utilizing SAGE or similar payroll processing system and AL Mobile time keeping systems preferred.
- Bi-lingual (Spanish fluency) preferred
