Duties:
- Assist in managing accounts payable and accounts receivable processes
- Perform bank reconciliations and ensure accuracy of financial transactions
- Conduct account analysis to identify discrepancies and resolve any issues
- Assist with the preparation of financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements
- Utilize accounting software such as Xero and QuickBooks to record financial transactions
- Maintain accurate records of financial transactions and update general ledgers
- Support the budgeting process by providing financial data and analysis
- Collaborate with the bookkeeping team to ensure timely and accurate completion of tasks
Requirements:
- Proven experience in technical accounting or bookkeeping roles
- Strong knowledge of double-entry bookkeeping principles
- Proficient in using accounting software such as QuickBooks
- Excellent 10-key typing skills for data entry accuracy
- Familiarity with account analysis techniques
- Ability to perform bank reconciliations effectively
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
