Suntree Country Club seeks a positive, energetic, and professional server. The candidate must possess excellent Customer / Member service, embody and demonstrate a confident engagement style that promotes a positive dining experience while maintaining the highest Member satisfaction levels.
SUNTREE COUNTRY CLUB
Established in 1975, Suntree Country Club is a private, member-owned country club built exclusively for the enjoyment, relaxation, and fellowship of its members, their families, and guests.
The beautifully landscaped estate offers 36 holes of championship golf and a state-of-the-art short-game practice facility.
Members enjoy a 13-court racquet complex that includes pickleball and a beautiful pool with a poolside bar. Food service is handled through 2 large, multi-function clubhouses, multiple kitchens, bars, private meeting rooms, and exercise facilities.
Responsibilities
- Provides immediate friendly, positive, and attentive attention to all Members / Guests upon seating.
- Must be willing to learn and remember Member's names.
- Detail orientated in taking food & beverage orders for Members / Guests.
- Maintaining the highest standards of Member Service.
- Memorizing the menu and recommend appetizers, meals and drinks from restaurant wine stock.
- Deliver a memorable dining experience by resolving all Members issues promptly.
- Setting tables and rearranging the dining area to accommodate larger groups and prepare the restaurant for special events.
- Helps patrons select food and beverages by suggesting courses, explaining chef's specialties, identifying appropriate beverage pairings, and answering food preparation questions.
- Service of orders in a timely, efficient manner per standard operating procedures.
- Maintains table setting by removing courses as completed, replenishing utensils, refilling water glasses, and being alert to patron spills or other special needs.
- Remains readily accessible and attentive to Members and guests at all times
- Maintain a high level of safety and cleanliness
- Bus tables as needed
- Concludes dining experience by acknowledging choice of restaurant and inviting Members / Guests to return.
- Ensures Members / Guests are charged correctly.
Qualifications
- Ability to communicate and understand the directions of management.
- Must be able to work rapidly during rush periods.
- Able to work with co-workers as a team.
Experience
6 months prior Professional Server Experience.
Knowledge / Skills
- Attention to detail

Physical Demands
The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an associate to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
- Work a flexible schedule including nights, holidays, and weekends
- Ability to walk / stand for up to 8 hours
- Ability to lift and move tables, chairs, and equipment of 40lbs or more.
- Be able to climb stairs, bend, stoop, reach overhead, pull & push and or lift a tray of 50lbs.
