Please review the following job description:

This position is part of the Auditor Development Program within Truist Audit's Testing Center of Excellence. This program develops skilled risk and control-minded professionals in a comprehensive, 18-24 month experience and prepares them to join an audit delivery team or other risk, control, or functional areas in Truist.

The program provides teammates early in their careers with a comprehensive experience designed to develop and enhance internal audit skills prior to assignment on risk, control or testing functions within the first, second or third line of defense. These teammates will join the program alongside a cohort and be immersed in a training curriculum and development activities to strengthen their key business acumen and audit-related skills to support their career journeys. Upon program completion, participants have an opportunity to secure placement based on business needs, preference and performance.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Following is a summary of the essential functions for this job.Other duties may be performed, both major and minor, which are not mentioned below.Specific activities may change from time to time.

1.Prepare for effective client interviews and documentation of interview results via narratives, flowcharts and process maps under the guidance of the Engagement Manager.
2.Analyze process documentation to evaluate design effectiveness and efficiency of controls.
3.Execute testing strategy directed by the Engagement Manager.
4.Identify internal control weaknesses.
5.Communicate internal control weaknesses to the Engagement Manager.
6.Develop internal audit skills.
7.Gain knowledge of the organization, operations, policies and procedures (including banking laws and regulations) under which Truist operates.
8.Receive constructive feedback and apply to future assignments.

QUALIFICATIONS
Required Qualifications:

1.Bachelor's degree in accounting, business or related field or equivalent education and related training or experience.
2.Zero to two years related experience.
3.Good analytical skills with high attention to details and accuracy.
4.Ability to grasp the underlying concepts in complex information.
5.Good decision making skills.
6.Good aptitude for learning analytical, audit and/or facilitation skills.
7.Good interpersonal and communication skills.
8.Proficiency in basic computer applications, such as Microsoft Office software products.

Preferred Qualifications:
1.Possess appropriate professional certification or be a certification candidate.
