Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years in commercial solar, including commissioning new systems and servicing existing systems
- Can deliver detailed reports in a timely manner
- Experienced with monitoring platforms and DAS
- Comfortable troubleshooting all types of PV systems including those with legacy equipment
- Electrical competencies include DC electrical and the ability to troubleshoot faults in the array, inverters, AC side, and communications/DAS.
- Available for some overnight travel
- Can manage schedules and inventories for 3-4 other field technicians
- Tech is located anywhere between Stockton, San Jose, and Vallejo. Contra Costa and Alameda counties preferred.
Responsibilities
We are an established Solar Operations & Maintenance company seeking a leader to mentor and manage a team of 3-4 techs with varying levels of experience.
This position demands the ability to manage others while also performing complex troubleshooting, commissioning, and preventive maintenance jobs of one's own. The Lead Tech will coordinate the daily activities of the NorCal team, manage the local inventory, and distribute parts and tools to the jobs that need them.
You will be working in a healthy environment with a supportive team, offering training and support from some of the industry's finest.
