About the Role
The Maintenance Supervisor will perform many maintenance, safety and supervisor tasks that promote a clean and safe working environment on the manufacturing facility to include:
- Delegating cleaning and maintenance tasks to team members
- Monthly safety and cleanliness of interior and exterior areas, such as offices, factory floor, outdoor spaces, etc.
- Perform routine maintenance of facilities and making repairs as needed
- Scheduling routine inspections and emergency repairs with outside vendors
- Maintaining day-to-day operations of facilities, such as delegating or completing maintenance orders
- Creating reports on maintenance, repairs, safety and other occurrences for supervisors and other relevant staff.
- Preparing facilities for changing weather conditions
- Collaborating with operations and upper management on budgeting for facilities needs
- Oversee the repairs, installations and upkeep of various buildings, offices, and other facilities.
- Train and supervise employees of the maintenance department including time management, performance management, disciplinary, etc.
- Negotiate contracts with outside vendors for execution of maintenance work
- Ensure operational efficiency of electrical equipment and mechanical systems through timely inspection and repair.
- Maintain company safety standards
- Oversee process/quality improvement
- Various project management tasks
- Other duties assigned by plant manager
About You
Basic Qualifications
- 3 years of experience in a supervisory maintenance role
- Demonstrate strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills
- Experience with facilities, manufacturing, and process improvement technology
- Excellent interpersonal skills to communicate effectively across the organization.
- Computer skills including email, Microsoft Office, etc.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience
