Position Summary : The Event Media Specialist will have complete knowledge of technology on campus, specifically pertaining to what each event space has to offer. They will be responsible for fulfilling various operational roles based on the scope of requirements for each event. The Event Media Specialist will plan and execute events while using their technical expertise to track, investigate, and recommend technology solutions and best practices. They will create and maintain an inventory of technological supplies and equipment for the Campus Event Management Office. This position will train, communicate, and implement concepts and ideas to event organizers, campus departments, and presenters on technology needed for their events. They will also assist in developing, creating, and maintaining the Campus Event Management website, streaming options, social media, and all other technological needs of the office.
