Job Title : Writing Center Consultant - Spring 2025

Job Description / Duties
The primary responsibility for the person in this position is to support students with their writing processes and projects in one-on-one (in-person and online) sessions alongside a staff consisting of Graduate Assistants, Composition Program faculty, and the Writing Center Director.
Further responsibilities include :
- Participating in Writing Center Consultant development and training sessions with the Writing Center Director.
- Attending mandatory scheduled staff meetings.
- Creating and conducting writing workshops for classes in collaboration with the Writing Center staff.
- Promoting the Writing Center through in-class visits.
- Participating in collaborative research and assessment projects if interested.
