The Executive Assistant to the Provost at SUNY Orange provides comprehensive administrative and organizational support, ensuring the smooth functioning of the Office of the Provost. Serving as a central point of contact, this role involves managing multiple priorities and deadlines while maintaining a professional, welcoming, and confidential environment. Key responsibilities include tracking the progress of projects and initiatives, offering updates, identifying potential challenges, and addressing areas needing attention. The Executive Assistant is also responsible for managing the Provost's calendar, preparing meeting agendas, organizing materials, and supporting presentations. Exceptional multitasking, communication, technical, and project management skills are essential to meet the fast-paced and dynamic demands of the Provost's office.
Job Requirements:
Education & Experience Required: Associate degree with a minimum of five years administrative experience or a Bachelor's degree with a minimum of three years administrative experience.
Preferred Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and Worker Characteristics:
- Five years of experience working in college administration.
- Bachelor's degree
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, Google Workspace, project management platforms, and other relevant technology
- Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
- Ability to effectively establish and maintain working relationship with supervising personnel, co-workers, all college employees and the public.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize effectively.
- Must be able to travel between the college's two campuses and other sites.
- Bilingual Skills.

Salary: $60,000-$70,000 commensurate with experience. This is a 12 month Management Confidential position.
