The Oswego Alumni Association, Inc., located at SUNY Oswego, invites applications for a full time Data Manager. While this position is located on the campus of SUNY Oswego, this is an Oswego Alumni Association, Inc. position, NOT a New York State position. Salary: $65,000 - $75,000/year. Commensurate with qualifications and experience. The Oswego Alumni Association provides an excellent benefits package including vacation and sick time, medical insurance, and retirement contributions.
Description of Responsibilities:
Responsible for developing ongoing, sustainable business solutions which meet the needs and advance the work of University Advancement. Partnering with a Campus Technology Services (CTS) Programmer/Analyst and other internal and external partners, a critical focus of this role will be representing Advancement Operations in the implementation and execution of technology roadmap projects and system enhancements. This individual will gather information, document business processes/requirements, and make recommendations which will improve constituent reporting, data integrity and process flow.
The Data Manager is responsible for developing, overseeing, organizing, storing, and analyzing data and data systems, including the oversight and update of biographical, engagement, gift, and pledge records. This position will be the subject matter expert for both thankQ CRM and Anthology. Develop and document data systems procedures, and train staff on software systems. Directs data integrity through auditing and validating records; manages data appends and actively seeks enhanced constituent data.
Works proactively and collaboratively to review department's hardware and software needs. Acts as project manager for software system implementations.

Job Requirements:
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree and minimum 3 years work experience in Advancement, data management, data analytics, or similar
- Proficient in both Microsoft Office including Word and Excel, as well as Google Docs and Sheets
- Excellent math, problem-solving, and analytical skills
- Strong attention to detail
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Tableau
- Prior experience with CRM/relational database a plus
- Supervisory experience
- Five years of professional experience
- Customer service experience
- Experience with Anthology a plus
