What are the responsibilities and job description for the Medical Office Assistant - Medicine Outpatient Float Pool position at SUNY Upstate Medical University?
This individual will have an opportunity to have direct patient care responsibilities in addition to complementing those skills with providing proficient clerical organization in an outpatient practice. Provides patient friendly service graciously, efficiently, and confidentially. Medical Office Assistant float will float between all outpatient medical practices within the Department of Medicine.
Must have reliable transportation
Minimum Qualifications:Completion of an approved Medical Assistant or Medical Office Assistant program or one year experience directly related to the medical field; Current BLS certification through the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross; excellent interpersonal and organizational skills required.

Monday - Friday daytime hours
