We are seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused Night Auditor to join our team. The Night Auditor plays a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of the hotel during overnight hours. This position involves performing night audits, managing guest check-ins and check-outs, and providing exceptional guest services. The ideal candidate will possess strong hospitality skills, attention to detail, and the ability to handle various tasks efficiently while maintaining a welcoming atmosphere for our guests.
Responsibilities
- Conduct nightly audits of financial transactions and ensure accuracy in reporting.
- Manage guest check-ins and check-outs, addressing any inquiries or concerns with professionalism.
- Provide excellent guest relations by responding to requests and resolving issues promptly.
- Maintain services, local attractions, and amenities to assist guests effectively.
- Operate phone systems with proficient phone etiquette, handling calls in a courteous manner.
- Prepare reports for management regarding occupancy rates, revenue, and any discrepancies found during audits.
- Ensure the front desk area is clean, organized, and welcoming for guests.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless service delivery throughout the night.
Experience
- Previous experience in hospitality or hotel management is preferred.
- Familiarity with night audit procedures and software is a plus.
- Strong guest service skills with a focus on building positive relationships with guests.
