We are seeking a dedicated and friendly Front Desk Agent to join our hospitality team. As the first point of contact for our guests, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere at our Hotel. Your responsibilities will include managing reservations, assisting guests with inquiries, and performing night audit duties as needed. Responsibilities
- Greet and welcome guests upon arrival with a warm and friendly demeanor.
- Manage check-in and check-out procedures efficiently to ensure a smooth guest experience.
- Handle reservations, cancellations, and modifications through phone systems and online platforms.
- Provide information about hotel amenities, services, and local attractions to enhance the guest experience.
- Address guest inquiries and resolve any issues promptly with professionalism and courtesy.
- Perform night audit duties as required, ensuring accurate financial reporting for the day’s transactions.
- Maintain the front desk area in an organized and professional manner.
- Collaborate with other hotel departments to ensure guest satisfaction and seamless operations.
- Assisting with any left over laundry to be folded and put away in an orderly fashion.
- Set up breakfast and maintain breakfast during breakfast hours
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a front desk role or customer service position within the hospitality industry is preferred.
- Familiarity with hotel management software is a plus; experience with phone systems is essential.
- Strong phone etiquette and communication skills to interact effectively with guests and team members.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
- A background in hospitality management or related fields is advantageous but not mandatory.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a focus on providing outstanding customer service.
