What are the responsibilities and job description for the Housekeeping/Laundry position at Super 8 Motels on Monkhouse Dr.?
Housekeeping: Cleaning guestrooms mid-stay and after departure. Making beds Replacing dirty linens and towels. Restocking guestroom amenities like toiletries, drinking glasses, and notepads. Removing garbage, recycling, and room service trays Picking up and returning valet laundry items. Organizing and stocking housekeeping carts. Notifying the maintenance department about broken appliances, old light bulbs, or damages. Upholding the hotel’s confidentiality and security standards Respecting “do not disturb” signs and the guest’s privacy. Keeping the front desk updated with clean rooms.
Laundry: Wash, clean, dry, and fold numerous hotel linen and laundry items. Update the laundry list and record it on a daily basis. Maintain cleanliness in the laundry rooms. Assist fellow laundry attendants in loading and unloading laundry washers and dryers. Maintain inventory level which includes detergents, sewing machines, detergent cakes, and others. Keep it updated on a regular basis.
