Position: Online Sales Rep (Whatnot Platform Specialist)
Location: Mt Pleasant TN
Employment Type: Full-time, M-F (some Saturdays) Primarily 7-330 but hours will vary depending on peak show times.
Are you a dynamic, self-motivated salesperson with a passion for e-commerce and live selling? We’re looking for an experienced, enthusiastic individual to run and grow our thriving Whatnot store, specializing in liquidation.
As the face of our online sales operation, you’ll need to be a skilled communicator, a natural at connecting with people, and someone who thrives on building relationships with customers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Host engaging live sales on the Whatnot platform to drive sales and retain customer loyalty.
- Showcase products with energy, enthusiasm, and a professional demeanor.
- Develop and execute effective sales strategies to meet and exceed daily, weekly, and monthly revenue goals.
- Build and maintain a strong online community by interacting with followers and customers.
- Handle inventory management, ensuring items are accurately listed, described, and prepared for shipping.
- Monitor market trends to optimize pricing and product selection.
- Create compelling listings with attention-grabbing descriptions and high-quality photos/videos.
- Maintain timely and professional communication with customers, resolving inquiries or issues as they arise.
- Collaborate with the team to develop marketing initiatives and promotions.
What We’re Looking For:
- Proven experience in sales, e-commerce, or live selling (experience with Whatnot is a huge plus!).
- Charismatic and camera-friendly personality—comfortable hosting live streams for an audience.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to create engaging customer experiences.
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
- Tech-savvy with familiarity using e-commerce platforms, live-streaming tools, and social media.
- Self-starter with a creative mindset and a passion for driving growth.
- Experience with shipping and logistics (basic understanding of shipping tools like Pirate Ship) is a plus!
