Super Lawn Trucks Paint Preparation and Application Technician

JOB DESCRIPTION Overview:

• Works on our truck manufacturing and assembly team to build commercial work trucks with zero defects.
• Follows all safety protocols including wearing personal protection equipment daily.
• Cleans and prepares parts for primer, paint, and corrosion-resistant coatings.
• Applies primers, paints, and coatings to fabricated parts, assemblies, and truck bodies.
• Uses hands, hand tools, power tools, air tools, and assigned equipment including forklifts to prepare/install truck bodies.
• Responsible for keeping your work area clean, well organized, and safe for your co-workers.
• Using established processes and procedures moves parts from manufacturing areas to the painting areas, prepare parts and apply coatings, and place completed parts to the correct storage area.
• Responsible for inventory of supplies.

Requirements:

• Gets along well with others.
• Professional appearance and excellent verbal communication skills.
• Ability to stand, walk, talk, get up and down including working under vehicles and participate for 8 hours per day without physical difficulty.
• Ability to hear, speak, and understand the English language.
• Ability to write notes in English.
• The successful candidate will have demonstrated a strong work ethic.
• The successful candidate will have a high degree of attention to detail.

Compensation:

• Hourly paid position with hourly rates from $12 to $22 per hour.
• Paid training per company policy.
• Paid holidays after 6 months of employment.
• Paid vacation after 12 months of employment.
• Retirement program with company matching up to 3% of gross pay after 12 months of employment.
