Supermicro is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced GTC Operations Contractor professional to play a crucial role in the smooth and efficient execution of our daily Global Trade Compliance (GTC) operations. This position will be responsible for providing essential support in areas such as logistics coordination, export compliance documentation, record-keeping, and communication with internal and external stakeholders. - Provide daily operational support for Supermicro's Global Trade Compliance activities.
- Assist in the preparation and maintenance of export and import documentation, ensuring accuracy and compliance with relevant regulations (e.g., EAR and Customs regulations).
- Support the coordination of international shipments, working closely with logistics providers, freight forwarders, and internal teams.
- Track shipments and proactively address any logistical challenges or delays.
- Maintain accurate records of export transactions, licenses, and other GTC-related documentation.
- Communicate effectively with internal departments (Sales, Shipping, Engineering, Procurement) regarding GTC requirements and procedures.
- Liaise with external parties such as customs brokers, freight forwarders, and regulatory agencies.
- Assist in the development and implementation of GTC policies and procedures.
- Support internal audits and compliance reviews related to logistics and export/import activities.
- Stay up-to-date on changes in international trade regulations and communicate potential impacts to the team.
- Assist with data entry and reporting related to GTC operations.
- Contribute to process improvement initiatives within the GTC function.
- Perform other duties as assigned to support the overall GTC operations.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in Logistics, Export Compliance, or a related field.
- Strong understanding of international trade regulations and compliance requirements.
- Experience with export documentation processes.
- Familiarity with shipping and logistics procedures.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with various stakeholders.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to tasks.
- Experience with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) is a plus.
- Formal training or certifications in export compliance or logistics are a plus.
- Bachelor's degree in International Business, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field is preferred.
Salary : $42 - $50
