What are the responsibilities and job description for the Custodial Support position at Super Radiator Coils?
Job Description:
The custodian maintains a clean working environment for all staff and visitors, ensuring all areas are safe and clean.
Essential Functions:
Cleans and sanitizes bathrooms; cleans and polishes fixtures.
Replenish all consumables, e.g., soap, tissue, towels, air freshener, etc.
Cleans, mops, washes, buffs, and vacuums floors as appropriate to surface.
Empties trash to appropriate containers; removes recycling materials to appropriate containers.
Floor scrubber operation, drain cleanout, shop cleaning stations, refuse and recycling collection, etc.
Related duties as required.
Competencies:
Methods of cleaning and preserving floors, walls, surfaces, furnishings, and fixtures.
The operation of tools used in custodial work such as power equipment, vacuums, floor polishers.
Perform moderately heavy manual work.
Ability to climb ladders and stairs.
Work independently with minimal supervision.
Establish and maintain effective working relationships with those contacted in the course of work.
Position Type & Hours of Work:
This is a full-time hourly position.
This position requires an individual who shows exemplary character, can demonstrate an ability to be self-motivated, and shows excellent decision-making skills. The candidate should demonstrate an ability to work well with others in a professional, polite, and friendly manner, and engage positively with fellow employees, as well as guests, across many different departments and levels of responsibility.
Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 4:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
