Position Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Commercial Dish Machine Rebuilder to join our warehouse team. This role involves restoring used commercial dish machines to like-new condition, ensuring they meet operational and aesthetic standards. The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and a commitment to delivering high-quality results.

Key Responsibilities:

• Inspection and Assessment:
  • Examine incoming dish machines to assess their condition and identify necessary repairs or replacements.
  • Document machine specifications and deficiencies.
• Disassembly and Cleaning:
  • Safely disassemble dish machines into components for thorough cleaning and repair.
  • Remove debris, grease, and buildup using appropriate cleaning tools and methods.
• Repair and Restoration:
  • Replace damaged or worn components, including pumps, motors, hoses, and seals.
  • Repair electrical and mechanical systems to ensure machines operate efficiently and safely.
  • Repaint and refinish surfaces as needed to restore machines to a like-new appearance.
• Testing and Quality Assurance:
  • Reassemble machines and conduct rigorous operational tests to ensure functionality.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve any issues detected during testing.
  • Perform final inspections to verify all work meets company standards.
• Inventory and Documentation:
  • Maintain accurate records of repairs, replacements, and materials used.
  • Coordinate with the inventory team to ensure adequate stock of parts and supplies.

Qualifications:

• Prior experience in equipment repair, rebuilding, or a related mechanical field is preferred.
• Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a warehouse environment.
• Clean driving record as you may have to take occasional trips to deliver parts to technicians in the field.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to lift and move heavy equipment (up to 75 lbs) regularly.
• Comfortable working in a warehouse setting, which may involve exposure to noise, grease, and cleaning chemicals.
• Stamina to perform tasks that involve standing, bending, and kneeling for extended periods.

Work Schedule:

• Full-time position, Monday through Friday. Occasional overtime may be required based on workload.
