Position- Medical Laboratory Technician
Location- Custer, SD 57730
Shift- 8 Hour Nights, Variable
Assignment Length- 13 weeks
Guaranteed Hours- 40 hours/week
Pay- Hourly: $51/hr (For Local)
Pay- Gross Weekly- $2200/Week (For Traveler)
Requirements:
- At least two years of experience
- Certification: MLT & MLS: ASCP or equivalent
- MLT: Associate degree in related field
- MLS: Bachelor’s degree in related field
- Experience of EPIC Beaker module with Rovers
Responsibilities
- Tested and analyzed specimens of human origin and other substances using established scientific laboratory techniques to aid in diagnosing, treating, and preventing diseases or to support medical research.
- Established a plan enabling the fastest laboratory critical value response time with 378 providers
- Worked directly with patients. Built rapport and developed solid working relationships while taking samples. Handled and prepared specimens according to organizational and OSHA standards.
- Assisted with administrative duties related to data entry and document preparation.
