Who Are We Looking For?
The Key Account Manager will manage Superfeet’s strategic partnerships within the Running channel, including Fleet Feet, New Balance, Road Runner & Marathon Sports. This role is accountable for driving revenue growth, brand visibility, and account health across key partners by delivering best-in-class service, merchandising execution, and collaborative business planning.
What You’ll Do:
- Account Ownership & Execution
- Own day-to-day management of key accounts across all touch points, including order fulfillment, merchandising compliance, forecasting, and issue resolution.
- Serve as the primary contact for buyer, planner, and retail operations teams, ensuring seamless communication and alignment on goals.
- Create and implement strategic sales plans tailored to each account’s goals, Superfeet’s category objectives, and market opportunities.
- Sales & Business Planning
- Analyze retail and wholesale sales data to identify growth opportunities, product trends, and potential risks.
- Deliver accurate and timely forecasts, sales reports, and business updates to internal and external stakeholders.
- Partner with demand planning, operations, and finance to ensure timely delivery and inventory optimization.
- Merchandising & Brand Experience
- Execute visual merchandising, marketing, and promotional strategies to drive sell-through and enhance the consumer experience.
- Conduct regular retail visits and digital audits to ensure accurate brand representation in stores and online.
- Collaborate with marketing to plan and execute omni-channel campaigns, activations, and seasonal initiatives.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Work closely with internal teams including Customer Service, Supply Chain, Product, and Marketing to deliver on customer expectations.
- Provide account insights to internal partners to inform product assortment, pricing, and channel strategy.
- Help refine the service model for strategic partners by flagging pain points and advocating for scalable improvements.
- Leadership & Coaching
- Actively contribute to a high-performance team culture through positive influence, accountability, and peer coaching.
- Support cross-functional teammates by sharing best practices, offering feedback, and modeling solution-oriented thinking.
Your Skills and Abilities:
- Effective communicator with excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
- Excellent organizational skills, detail-oriented, and adept at balancing multiple priorities.
- Strong understanding of retail math, margin management, and business planning.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams) and Sales reporting tools (experience with CRM and digital shelf platforms a plus)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to travel 25-30% for account meetings, store visits, and trade shows.
- Self-motivated and capable to work independently from a home office.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or related field. MBA preferred.
- 7 years’ experience in Sales or Account Management; preferably in consumer goods, footwear, or sporting goods.
- Proven success managing big-box and specialty retail account
Compensation: $100,000 - $120,000/yr DOE
Location: Remote in North America.
