Job Description:
Ability to take new construction multifamily project from start to finish.
Ability to read blueprints.
Able to communicate with general contractors.
Fire Alarm programming with Firelite and Silent Knight panels preferred.
Understanding Fire Alarm building codes.
At least 5 years of driving history with no major infractions.
Able to work in cold and hot conditions.
Willing to travel at times when required.
Qualifications:
1. Technical Expertise:
· Strong technical skills in installing and troubleshooting fire alarm systems.
· Knowledge of various types of fire equipment and technologies.
2. Electrical Knowledge:
· Understanding of basic electrical principles relevant to alarm system installations.
3. Communication Skills:
· Effective communication skills to interact with customers and explain technical details.
4. Problem-Solving Skills:
· Ability to quickly diagnose and solve technical issues related to alarm systems.
5. Attention to Detail:
· Thoroughness in conducting system tests and inspections to ensure accuracy.
6. Physical Fitness:
· Ability to lift and carry equipment, climb ladders, and perform physical tasks associated with installations.
7. Valid Driver's License:
· Often required for traveling to customer locations.
