Position Overview: We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Controller to oversee the financial operations of our growing business. This position is critical to ensuring the company's financial health and operational efficiency. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, a deep understanding of financial management, and the ability to collaborate with various departments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and oversee the full cycle of accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and general ledger.
• Prepare accurate and timely financial statements, budgets, and forecasts.
• Develop and maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets.
• Analyze financial data and provide strategic recommendations to support business growth.
• Monitor cash flow, manage budgets, and ensure financial stability.
• Coordinate with external auditors and tax preparers to ensure compliance with all regulations.
• Review and optimize financial processes to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
• Collaborate with the leadership team to set financial goals and objectives.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CPA or CMA designation preferred).
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting or finance.
• Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks preferred) and advanced Excel skills.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting standards.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills, with attention to detail.
• Proven ability to analyze data and provide actionable insights.
• Experience in the excavation, construction, or similar industry is a plus.
