EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS : A high school diploma or GED certificate is minimum requirement for Order Coordinator.
ESSENTIAL PURPOSE OF THIS POSITION : Provides administrative timely, relevant, and accurate delivery of information and analysis to Shipping Department and different levels of staff within the organization. Order processing - validating and entering orders to ensure data accuracy, insuring all required documentation is present. Responsible for maintaining shipping records and entering shipping data in the system. Strong self-starter and ability to work with others and require minimal supervision.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES :
- Consolidate work orders with Sales Order line items
- Track and report daily / monthly reports
- Communicates products and shipping concerns with management and different levels of staff
- Provides daily assistance to Facility Manager on past due, present, and future orders
- On time accurate order entry and documentation
- Maintain accurate inventory count
- Data entry and associated transactions will account for 80% of workload
- Daily communication with sales personnel and in some cases customers can be expected
- Will be expected to be involved to some degree in supporting the supervision and management associated with transportation / trucking issues.
- Gather data and be expected to submit various reports associated with outside auditing.
- Various other reporting done daily for internal use
