Superior Fence & Rail of North San Diego is a fence industry leader that is currently seeking an experienced Fence Sales Consultant for immediate hire. This is a 100% commission opportunity in which compensation is determined solely by the success of the individual Sales Consultant. No cold calling - leads are supplied through partnerships with a national home improvement chain and multiple home builders and general contractors. Massive sales advantage over competitors. Top earners make $200,000 per year. Average sales people make $80,000-$120,000.
Gas cards and vehicle are provided after the training period is completed. Training is required to be in-person at our warehouse in Spring Valley. Remote work can be discussed after training ends, depending on performance.
The territory for this position is San Diego and the surrounding area; so the candidate needs to live in this area.
Job Responsibilities:
- Learn and adopt Superior Fence & Rail's structured selling process and complete the required training
- Present and sell the features and benefits of Superior Fence & Rail products
- Continually prospect for new customers through networking, referrals, and effective follow-up
- Set and maintain the required number of appointments to meet/exceed sales goals
Minimum Requirements:
- 3 years of prior outside sales experience, fence sales is a big plus
- 2 years of In-Home sales experience required
- Commercial construction sales experience accepted in lieu of above
- College degree in a related field preferred
- Ability to work some weekends and evenings
- Pass drug screening and background investigation
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; Strong presentation and listening skills
- Ability to treat others with respect and gain trust from subordinates and supervisors
- Exceedingly positive in his/her work attitude
- Basic computer skills and proficiency (preferably with Google G-Suite)
- Valid driver's license, clean driving record, and reliable transportation
The Superior candidate will:
- Be polished and professional in demeanor and possess previous outside sales experience
- Have strong work ethic, exceptional listening skills, integrity, and a desire for high commission
