Role Overview
Superior Fence & Rail of Hartford is looking for a results-driven Sales Manager to lead our growing sales team. This role offers a competitive base salary plus commissions on self-generated sales and overrides on team sales. With a target annual compensation range of $125k-$175k, this position is ideal for a proven leader with experience in the home services industry who can drive team success and foster a culture of growth and high performance.
Mission of the Role:
The Sales Manager will drive the performance and growth of the sales organization in pursuit of being the #1 Fence Contractor of Choice for homeowners and the #1 Employer of Choice for employees. You will work alongside the leadership team to accomplish business goals while setting and maintaining a culture committed to excellence, hard work, growth, world class customer service, professionalism, and fun. Ultimately, your expertise will empower our sales teams to achieve success.
Key Responsibilities:
- Drive revenue through in-person fence sales
- Reinforce sales best practices and playbook
- Track and monitor key sales KPIs to identify areas of success and improvement
- Lead weekly sales meetings
- Conduct daily ride-alongs with fencing sales consultants to provide coaching and drive sales
- Set sales goals in support of business growth goals
- Motivate, train, and coach sales consultants to achieve their potential
- Lead performance management through technology tools
- Drive change management, as needed, to accomplish business growth goals
- Support recruiting, hiring, onboarding, and training of new sales consultants
- Create and maintain a culture committed to growth, taking care of homeowners, excellence, professionalism, and fun
Basic Qualifications:
- Must have In-home sales experience
- Consultative sales approach in a B2C soft one call close environment
- Demonstrated experience using data and KPIs to improve process, manage change and create adoption strategies in sales organizations
- Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate across organizations at all levels of the business
- Demonstrated leadership experience
- Demonstrated experience working with technology tools (CRM)
Preferred Qualifications:
- Prior experience working in Home Services/Fencing industry
- Demonstrated success influencing across functions.
- Demonstrated successful experience training new - and seasoned - sales reps

Compensation & Benefits
- Base Salary: $50k - $65k annually (based on experience)
- Override on Team Sales: Direct correlation to your team’s success
- Commission: Additional earnings on self-generated sales
- Performance Bonuses: Potential to earn bonuses based on personal performance
- Earnings Potential: $125k - $175k annually, with uncapped earning potential
- W-2 Benefits Option: Includes health, vision, dental, 401K w/ 4% match, 10 days of PTO after a 90-day probationary period, gas card, and a company vehicle.
