Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Data Entry Clerk to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for accurately inputting, updating, and maintaining data within our systems. This role requires strong clerical skills and proficiency in various office software, particularly Excel. The Data Entry Clerk will play a crucial role in ensuring that our records are up-to-date and easily accessible, contributing to the overall efficiency of our operations.
Responsibilities
- Accurately enter and update data into computer systems and databases.
- Transcribe information from various sources into digital formats.
- Perform order entry tasks to ensure timely processing of requests.
- Organize and maintain physical and electronic files for easy retrieval.
- Work with production and the office to ensure the data is accurate.
- Communicate with suppliers with new orders.
- Report to office manager for direction.
Experience
- Proven experience in data entry or a similar clerical role is preferred.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other office applications.
- Familiarity with order entry systems is a plus.
- Excellent organizational skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Ability to transcribe information accurately and efficiently.
- Strong mathematical skills is a HUGE plus.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, are essential for effective collaboration within the team.
