Production Assistant

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Production Assistant to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting the production process, ensuring that operations run smoothly and efficiently. This position requires strong Machining understanding and blue print reading. Pay will depend on skill level and length of training needed.

Responsibilities

• Operate ERP (Manufacturing Software)
• Operate and understand Microsoft Word, Excel and Email capabilities
• Understand shop floor scheduling and Job Packets (Travelers)
• Understand Purchasing and basic office knowledge
• Have good Customer Service Skills
• Be a good Team Player and able to assist Shop Workers with Job Packets
• Able to sit at a desk and keep track of job status and processes

Requirements

• Previous experience in a manufacturing facility or Machine shop setting is preferred.
• Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to understand technical documents and blueprints.
• Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment while maintaining individual accountability.
• Excellent attention to detail with a commitment to producing high-quality work.
• Willingness to learn new skills and adapt to changing production needs.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $26.00 - $30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
